Any ideas of a nice, inexpensive hotel my boyfriend and I can stay at in the Florida Keys?

Hey! So my boyfriend and and I are planning a trip to the Florida Keys. It will be our first time there together, and I want the trip to be nice yet fairly inexpensive. So do you have any recommendations of hotels that we can stay at with a major plus or two, like a nice view, and/or good food (or good restaurants close by), and/or walking distance from the beach, yet won't cost us too much money? Just a warning, the Keys are one of the most expensive places to stay, and Key West has the highest average-daily-room-rate of any city in the US, higher even than New York or Honnolulu.





That being said. If you're going to Key West, try either the Seashell Motel, The El Rancho Motel, The Atlantic Shores, The Southernmost Motel, or The Pegasus Motel. If staying in Big Pine, then Parmer's Resort. If staying in Marathon, try the Anchorlite Inn, the Sea Dell Resort, The Hammock At Marathon, the Siesta Motel, or the Key Colony Motel. None of these are fancy, just as cheap as you can find.Any ideas of a nice, inexpensive hotel my boyfriend and I can stay at in the Florida Keys?
You can check this site out, it may be helpful.. I think they are actually running a deal right now.. something about $1 per night for a 5 star hotel... I dunno sounds crazy, but it apparently is real.
there is nothing cheap in the keys there is a holiday inn that is less then 200 a night there isnt a lot of cheap places to eat somewhere between key largo and key west there is a burger king, they have no walmart but they had a winn dixie grocery store

no they are all expensive or crappy!! go to www.vrbo.com it is for private owned rentals, we use it all the time..you get more space and amenteties anyway and can bring pets
