Looking for somewhere to stay while at Disneyland, that is within walking distance, less than $130/night, and good.What is the best affordable hotel or motel close to Disneyland?
I always recommend the Candy Cane Inn and the Howard Johnson (HoJo). While some hotels are closer, these two are very close to the front entrance, so you can walk back to the hotel for a swim or a nap in the afternoon. They are a step above the other hotels in the immediate area in terms of rooms, service, pool, and value. The HoJo recently added a themed pool, the only one outside the Disneyland Resort property.

go for the value hotels or the moderate ones. there is no need to splurge on the bigger ones b/c there is so much to do at the park..
they're all the same -go to www.disneyland.com and book your room.
