What hotel in the Playa Dorada complex is the best for young males to party?

I am planning a trip to the Dominican Republic in Feb with a group of friends and we want to party while we are there. I have heard that the playa dorada complex in puerto plata is a good place with a good nightlife. Out of the hotels in the complex which one do you think is best for young males to party?What hotel in the Playa Dorada complex is the best for young males to party?
Probably Blue Bay Villas or Fun Royale/Tropicale for a party atmosphere. I personally like the Gran Ventana the best out of all the resorts in the Playa Dorada Complex - it's one of the nicer ones and it's very close to the nightclubs (Roadway, Hemingways, Mangu, etc.). The Barcelo Puerto Plata is okay also - and again it's very close to the plaza where some of the nightclubs are located. Unless you plan on partying with overweight, fugly, pasty white tourists I wouldn't go there.





If you are a young group of guys go to Sosua or Cabarete which are both closer to the Puerto Plata Airport than Playa Dorada. Way more fun and DO NOT stay at an all inclusive. You aren't allowed to take guests back to your rooms.

have an amazing time - its a stunning place, seriously. It is a good place to stay. Me and my boyfriend stayed at the viva whyndham hotel which was fun but don't think it would be suitable for you guys. The bars and restaurants are great though
