What hotel in singapore would you recommend for a couple?

One that would not cost more than $50? But can be stayed comfortably for about 6 days? my honey and i are planning to go there next month but we are in a budget. hope you can help. thanks!What hotel in singapore would you recommend for a couple?

it's rather hard to find cheap hotels in singapore. but if you dont' mind budget hotels, hotel 81 or fragrance hotel are the two budget hotel chains in singapore . the environment isn't too bad. and many are located in places like lavender or balestier, which are close to the city areas. but if you do not wish to stay in budget hotels, try the hotel royal singapore, just off newton circle, in novena. the prices are quite reasonable and within walking walking distance to the city area, trains and bus stops.
Honestly, you can't find any decent hotels with this rates unless you plan to stay in backpackers motel, then it can be lower then $50 a day.





The next best cost effective hotels I can recommend are Fragrance Hotel (S$100+++ per day, http://www.fragrancehotel.com/fragrance0鈥?/a> and Hotel 81 (starts from S$70+++ per day, http://www.hotel81.com.sg/). However, do avoid location near/along Geylang Road for the above two mentioned hotels as Geylang is Singapore's redlight district, which may not be nice for a couple.





You may consider Hotel 81 or Fragrance Hotel along Balestier Road, which are relatively decent and about 15 minutes bus ride to city centre.

Why does travel agent recommend you Grand Central? Its pricing is surely more than $50, whether is S$ or US$. Its surely located at the city area near Orchard Road Shopping Area, but the travel agent should be joking as it will not have match your budget, unless she don't want to make money from you. http://www.grandcentral.com.sg/
Hotels in spore ARE indeed expensive. For the price you've mentioned, you cant even stay in the Hotel 81 chain (known for budget hotels here). However, for $50 you can try check-in in those backpackers hotel. It's still around the price you've mentioned. Try surf %26amp; look for backpackers..it must not necessary be shared with others, you can get a room all by urself.
