What is the best hotel in Aruba for a Honeymoon?

We are getting married on October 3rd, 2010 and want to plan our honeymoon to Aruba! Does anyone have any good tips / ideas of where the best place to stay in Aruba? ;) We are looking for something that is all inclusive.

Thanks! What is the best hotel in Aruba for a Honeymoon?
i agree with others.. aruba isnt the best honeymoon place. sorry. i know a girl who went to my school, natalie holloway, who got kidnapped and is not with us anymore. i knew her well and it was sad. we were also on a school trip and it was not a safe place at all. it is too much of a party place and.. i dont think safeWhat is the best hotel in Aruba for a Honeymoon?
Aruba is safer to visit than most major U.S. cities. The crime rate is extremely low. While I sympathize with what happened to Natalie, drinking in excess and going off alone with strangers is reckless and unsafe behavior. What happened to her in Aruba could have happened anywhere in the world.

I stayed at the Hyatt Regency last year. If you can afford it, I recommend it highly. It's in a very romantic setting, surrounded by lush palm trees, waterfalls, and ponds with koi and beautiful black swans swimming in them. The Ruinas del Mar restaurant is a fabulous place to have dinner even if you decide to stay somewhere else. It has a fantastic view of all of that landscaping and of the sun setting over the sea.

I don't really agree that it's a party island. If you want that sort of thing you can find it, just as you can anywhere, but that's not the sort of atmosphere you'll find at the classier resorts like the Hyatt Regency. What happened to Natalee Holloway was tragic, but the real tragedy was that there wasn't sufficient adult supervision. It could have happened any place where teenagers were allowed to drink to excess. According to the suspect's account she died of alcohol poisoning and his only crime was dumping her body because he didn't want to be blamed. That was the one and only case of its kind that I know of on Aruba. In places like New York and Detroit it probably happens so often it's not even newsworthy any more, so it's not fair to shun Aruba for one isolated incident.
If you havn't already booked anything... I would discourage you from going to Aruba for a honeymoon. Its a great place to go and party... get drunk and hookup, but its not really a ';romantic'; place to go. Aruba is geared more towards the college crowd than it is for the couples croud.

If you are looking for a romaitic place in mexico, there are a slew of other places. Cozumel, Los Cabos, Puerto Vallarta, Mayakobka, and the Riviera Maya... are all great places for a romantic honeymoon in Mexico.
Overall the best resort for honeymooners would be the Bucuti. There are no ';couples only'; resorts on the island, but the Bucuti does discourage children. Downside is that the resort in not all inclusive.

Four star resorts on the island include:

Hyatt, Marriott, Radisson, Westin, Riu and Occidental.

Riu and Occidental are both all inclusive.

Imo head over to tripadvisor.com for a variety of opinions. The Riu would be the most highly rated all inclusive resort.

The Marriott does off an all inclusive package certain times of the year, but I believe you need to read the fine print for exclusions and was extremely expensive the last time I priced it out.
We stayed at the Radisson this past March, it was very nice. It also had a great beach and was centrally located (lots of restaurants around).

I don't recommend that you do all inclusive. There are some fantastic restaurants on the island that are can't-miss.

A popular options for HMers is the Bucuti. They have the Tara Suites which overlook the beach. I believe it's adult only and breakfast is included.

Also, don't go there expecting too much adventure. It's a great island for relaxation and some exploration, but my sister went there for her HM and by the end of the week she and her hubby actually got kind of bored.
These hotels cater the needs of Honeymoon Couples.
