If you want a nice luxury place, which I am guessing you are since you want to stay on the Plaza, then I would say try The Fairmont on Ward Parkway or The Ritz Carlton. I live in the Kansas City area and can honestly say that anywhere you choose to stay on the Plaza will be a very nice place. I would definitely go with Embassy Suites. Probably the best price, awesome location %26amp; view of the plaza, plus great accomodations. Price of the room includes free drinks at happy hour %26amp; free breakfast. Not continental either, a full spread, eggs cooked to order, etc....
Also has indoor pool, hot tub and workout facility.
